Sovereignty or Chaos

Well, dear friends, I am now advancing quickly to my 73rd year of living in God‘s grace at this age, I truly feel I have experienced and felt most of my surprises, shocks, confusion, fear, panic, and so on, and it’s settled down into a final resting place of comfort. However, I am finding the current world, as it now stands, involves a culture that now seems opposed to everything that God values, as well as what I do. We are surrounded by an enemy -Satan – who wants to destroy everything important to me and, I’m sure, others. I have two dear friends who, when time allows, meet me for coffee and round table discussions. I know, however, that at the end of most meetings, I end up in a chaotic inner spirit filled with anger, discussed , and confusion with the world I live in.
Why do I lose track of the other side of life? My Almighty sovereign God.? Because we get so emotionally out of control, we forget the word sovereign to a Christ believer, which means he is the ultimate source of all power, authority, and everything that exists.
Let’s review the truth of Scripture we must believe. In Colossians one verse 16, we see God created all things and hold all things together, both in heaven and on earth, both visible and invisible. Next, in Psalms 103.19, we read that God has all power and authority over nature, earthly kings, history, angels, and demons. Finally, in Romans chapter 11 verse 33, we read that God knows all things past, present, and future!.
My friends; chaos is the demon’s opiate, when he knows we can overcome, but do not.! Only as our lives are built On God‘s strength and sovereignty will we be able to endure the harshness of life in a fallen world.
God’s sovereignty will overcome chaos!
God bless you, all!
