Interview with John Schneider
On this episode of “The Business Side of Music”, we interview actor, singer, and songwriter John Schneider. He tells us that writing a song is all about the story.
Many of you may remember him as “Bo Duke” on the hit TV show “Dukes of Hazzard”. He also played Superman’s dad as “Jonathan Kent” on the television series “Smallville”, along with dancing his way thru “Dancing with the Stars”. However what you may not know is that John is an established recording artist with close to 20 albums to his credits and 4 #1 singles on the Billboard Country chart. Last year, he launched an ambitious 70-song project, titled “The Odyssey”, releasing more than a song a week throughout 2018. He also released his Greatest Hits album that same year.
John discusses on how writing a song is more than just hooks and lines. It’s about telling a story, and taking the listener along for the journey.
Other facts about John:
