Elizabeth Motley of Motley Media Public Relations provides us insight on what it takes for an independent artist or act to get that much-needed exposure to help advance their career.

Motley is a seasoned award-winning creative television executive and former TV news anchor with more than 15+ years’ experience in broadcast and cable television, media, public relations, and digital content development. After years inside television media, Elizabeth leveraged her insider experience in the world of public relations. In 2007, Motley began handling celebrity public relations, media and marketing, working with many artists and high profile celebrities including TV / Film Actor James Best, most widely known for his role as Rosco P. Coltrane in the long running television series “The Dukes of Hazzard”; Film Director/Actor/Artist Michael Damian; Studio City Sound in Los Angeles; Caption Records; Worthy Publishing; and Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, the twin sons of Country Rock co-founder, Rick Nelson, and grandsons of TV icons Ozzie & Harriet Nelson, who carry on their family tradition as multi-platinum recording artists and celebrity headline entertainers in their own right; all-star rock group SCRAP METAL (Mark Slaughter, Kelly Keagy, Matthew & Gunnar Nelson, Janet Gardner, Jimi Jamison & more).
